A First For Jackson

Jackson started running a fever of 102 late in the afternoon yesterday and was very cuddly and clingy so I knew something wasn't right. Jackson didn't sleep very well last night and woke up with a 101 fever. Thank goodness our pediatrician's office is open on the weekends because I made an appointment first thing this morning which was great. Jackson's diagnosis is strep throat, yuck! Dr. R said his throat looked like raw meat, not good, our poor buddy. Hopefully little man will start feeling better now that he has started his antibiotics, which he isn't fond of eventhough it tastes like bubble gum! Jackson said, "No Mommy, I don't like it!"
