A week ago today we lost a very special person, Grandma Jean. Brandon, Jackson, Ella and myself are very thankful to have spent the last 2 months spending every free moment possible with Grandma Jean at her assisted living facility. We feel that Grandma really grew close to Jackson and Ella and they adored her to pieces. I remember for a week straight Jackson would ask if we could go visit Grandma Jean once Daddy got home, we had a hard time telling him no so we spent 7 days in a row with Grandma, we loved every minute of our time with her. Grandma taught me and Jackson how to fold cloth napkins so that is what we did in the evenings, we helped her fold the napkins for the assisted living facility. The last night we spent time with Grandma before her fall was spent on her bed eating popcorn, laughing and making a mess! Unfortunately, sometime in the middle of the night she fell while getting up to use the restroom. From that day on things were not the same. She underwent brain surgery because of a brain bleed, she spent time in ICU and she never seemed to recover. Grandma Jean was one amazing and tough woman and I learned so much from her and about her the past 2 months. We are saddened of her passing but very happy to know she has been reunited with Papa Bud and we have extra special guardian angels watching over us. We love you so much Grandma Jean and are missing you like crazy!
